Louis CK’s latest HBO special just got a premiere date and a name. After the massive success of his FX show, Louie, the world’s number one comedian – at least according to the Rolling Stone – will showcase his new stand-up special on April 13th, entitled Oh My God. It’ll debut 10pm EST on HBO in America.
Like CK’s previous stand-up shows, his fourth special will be available to download and stream from his website – louisck.net – a few months later. In order to watch the special on his site, you have to pay the measly price of $5, or £3.33. Laughspin writes the following;
“Filmed at the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix, C.K. covers “such topics as the food chain, animals, divorce, strange anecdotes, broken morality, murder and mortality,” according to the network.”
Ever since the release – and enormous success – of his last stand-up special, Live at the Beacon Theatre, CK plans to release all of his specials this way. Beacon recently also became available on Netflix, but the amount of CK related news doesn’t stop there.
For those of you who have yet to watch his incredible show, Louie, all three seasons are being aired on the FOX channel in the UK every Tuesday night. He’s also playing three shows in London at the end of this month, which you can get tickets for here. If you’re still unfamiliar with this comedian, then get to know him as fast as you can. Louie is set to return for it’s fourth season in 2014.
